This New Orleans house is a Neo-Classical revival shotgun style house constructed in 1912.

In 2007, the property was given a major renovation.  All walls were rebuilt and the original millwork was sanded and stripped down to the original wood finish.  The doors and transoms were removed and stripped to their natural wood finish.  New lighting package, plantation shutters and other enhancements were added during the renovation.  Upscale furnishings were added as a final touch. Many of the furnishings come from Restoration Hardware, Williams-Sonoma, Kohler, ROWE, Arhaus and Ballard Designs. The house features a shared rear landscaped deck and a one dedicated parking space which is accessed via a shared driveway.

The block is filled with a variety of shotgun houses and other styles.  The neighborhood features has the benefit of the Endymion Parade rolling through Orleans Avenue during Mardi Gras season.  The house is located justa few blocks from the Carrollton Avenue retail corridor, the Streetcar line and City Park. A full service Winn-Dixie Supermarket, Five Guys, Panera and other locally based cafes are just a short walk away. The house is also located one block from the brand new Lafitte Greenway, a hiking/biking trail built on a former rail line.
